Ti Piace, Italian American Presentations, Inc Officially is a Non-Profit
February 16, 2010-New York-On February 5th, Ti Piace—Italian American Presentations, Inc. officially became a non-profit organization of New York State. Formerly known as On Stage Italian American Artists (OSIAA), Ti Piace--Italian American Presentations, Inc is dedicated to preserving, presenting and promoting Italian American culture through art here and abroad.
Ti Piace will offer great shows and starring new and award winning Italian American talent such as Tre Bella, Allison Scola, Jenn Palumbo, Dimitri Minucci, Deb Longino and a group of other talented Italian American entertainers. Additionally, Ti Piace will offer classes in singing, writing and acting. Ti Piace is creating art, literature and music that represents the Italian American experience and supports artists with a public forum for their work.
Working with Skaddin Arps Slate and Meahger, New York City, Financial Director Robert Ciani, Director of Development Vincent P. Cuccia and Artistic Director JoAnn Robertozzi transformed the old OSSIA. According to Vincent P. Cuccia, “We did everything together. We sat around bouncing ideas around until we all agreed what Ti Piace should do and be. And we got it. We are all proud of it.”
Ti Piace will hold its first fund raiser in June of this year. According to JoAnn Robertozzi it will most likely be held at Drom in the East Village.
